I have split this post into two very important parts. Part two will be next week.
PART I: INTERNAL SKIN CARE
I hear often, people do not consider that the food we eat and the health of our bodies has any influence on the condition of our skin. Our diet and lifestyle are reflected in our skin’s health.
I was first introduced to this way of thinking as part of the philosophy of Janesce Skin Solutions while I attended their product training. Their skin care range is an organically-based, natural product range formulated to feed, nourish and support your skin. It is a belief in caring for your skin and yourself, both inside and out. Aside from external skin care recommendations, you will also look at nutritional supplements, health and lifestyle programmes to treat your skin (and body) from the inside. Adding a nutritional aspect to your skin care regime is both simple and straightforward. You can find more about Janesce through the link at the bottom of this post.
Your skin is the last organ of your body to receive nutrients. That makes it one of the first places to show imbalances or deficiencies. It makes sense to then say, the nutrients (or lack of) we put into our bodies plays a massive role in the health & condition of our skin.
Their are six nutrients vital to skin health:
- Water
- Essential Fatty Acids
- Vitamin B
- Vitamin A
- Zinc
- Vitamin C
The easiest, quickest and most efficient way of obtaining these nutrients is through our diets – the quality food that we eat.
Healthy DIGESTION is the key to healthy SKIN. If your body is not processing the nutrients, you will not be able to use the nutrients. Even after ensuring you are eating the RIGHT nutrients for your skin & health, you then need to ensure your body can process & digest these nutrients to sort what it needs, and dispose of the rest appropriately. If your body can’t process or use these nutrients, or it has low quality nutrients – your skin cells (and other cells in your body) can not function at their best.
Healthy DIGESTION is the key to healthy SKIN.
A healthy skin is a skin that glows. It is strong, but supple & soft. It is even in complexion. No acne, redness, rosacea, eczema. It ages slowly & gracefully. Everyone can achieve their healthy skin!
Janesce is my number one recommendation for skin care products.
